Snoogy, the newest member of our family.

Isn't she cute?

You would not believe what I had to go through to get these pictures.
First I had to ask my Grandfather if I could borrow his camera because mine is
dead(we bought a new one the next day). Then trying to get this little devil to sit
still long enough for me to zoom in, focus, and snap the shot was next to impossible.
I know. She's a kitten. I shouldn't expect her to sit still. I do
like how this picture turned out even though she moved from her designated spot when I was
taking it. This is the view I see walking up the blanket when I go to bed or
crawling up my legs when I'm in the recliner watching TV. |

Like I said before, Snoogy is the newest member of our family.
Why the name Snoogy? I had a calico like her when I was fourteen(a long time ago)
and to this day I cannot remember why I named her Snoogy. Anyway, when I told the
kids she reminded me of the cat I used to have, they decided that it was a good name for
her so she became Snoogy II. Snoogy is a very loving little kitten. When she's
not chasing anything that moves, she is usually curled up in someone's lap. It
didn't take her long to work her way into our hearts. Look at that face.
Doesn't it just scream out "I'm adorable". It looks innocent
too, but it's not. She is your normal attack anything that moves, real or imaginary,
kitten. Nothing can stay on the kitchen table overnight. The dogs can't walk
through the house without this little furball hanging off their leg at least once a
day. Sassy's naps are constantly interupted no matter how much he hisses and
growls. Sarah can't lay on the floor and wag her tail without risking having it
attacked. And poor Twister looks so baffled when she's woken up by a streak of
black, orange, and white fur flying by her or in some cases over top of her. This
little sweetheart is a constant source of love and entertainment. |
